A Bag for Anna

Today was the last day for Anna who I work with at Nursery. She is forging ahead with her career to become a teacher and she will be fab. As I think everyone needs a new bag when they start school this is what I made her for a leaving gift. Spotty on the inside with London print on the outside with a spotty bow.

Anna loved the bag and was impressed when I said I had made it. She said I had been hiding my skills - I then declared to Toni 'What a Hoot Pants' that I write a blog and they all squealed. If you are reading this girls HELLO!!

Guess what - I'm off on my holidays tomorrow. Cornwall here we come. Yeahhhh!!!!

Hoping this will post as Blogger was naughty earlier 'sorry showing inappropriate behaviour and lost my post' - bleat.

Sally said...: Wow, I love that bag what a lucky lady! I saw that fabric at FOQ, it works so well on the bag with the dots and love the bow. Wish they did fabric mail order as their prices were really good, thats where I did all my fabric shopping. Hope to see you soon. I'm going on a workshop on Saturday, it seems ages since the last one!

Strange Name

Quite simple really Dylan - our dog - loves to hide things around the house - especially food items. Now sometimes its one of his own treats, sometimes its a crust or a sweetie wrapper -he is a tinker. On one occasion in a mad episode of cleaning (not a favourite past time of mine) I moved the sofa low and behold I found two bones and a bagel - I immediately announced to Nellie (DD2) that it would be a fab name for a blog. So there you are the reason behind the name.

Doh in a Simpson's styleee just realised that in my blog name I have misspelt bagel - well it will have to stay as I have no intention or nowhow as to how to change my blog name. After all it has taken me two years to get around to/pluck up the courage to jump in = I don't want to spoil it now. LOL.
